Made-to-order is a phrase most brands use loosely. For UNDC, it's the entire operating model. Nothing is warehoused. Nothing is speculatively produced. Every piece is cut and finished after you order it, in Accra, by people who know your name because we spoke on WhatsApp. Here's exactly how it works.
Step 1: You Order
You place the order on the site or through WhatsApp. Payment clears — Paystack for cards and mobile money, or MoMo on delivery for Accra orders.
Step 2: We Confirm
Within a few hours, we message you on WhatsApp to confirm — size, colour, delivery address. If you're between sizes or want a small adjustment, this is when we note it.
Step 3: Production Starts
Your piece enters the workshop. Fabric is pulled, patterns are laid, cutting begins. Everything is done in Accra by our production partners. Depending on the piece — tees and polos are faster, leather is slower — this takes a few days.
Step 4: Finishing and QC
Once cut and sewn, each piece goes through a finishing pass — loose threads trimmed, prints and embroideries inspected, packaging prepared. If anything falls short, it doesn't ship.
Step 5: Dispatch
Within 7–10 working days of your order, we message you again to confirm dispatch. Delivery within Greater Accra runs through Yango — typically same day. Nationwide takes 1–3 working days. International is tracked courier.
Step 6: Aftercare
Once you have the piece, we follow up. If anything's off with fit, we handle exchanges. If you want another colour, we've already got your measurements. And every purchase eventually earns invitations to future drops.

Made-to-order removes the two biggest sins of fashion: dead stock and impersonal service. Every piece we make has a home. Every customer has a real conversation with the brand. And the whole model runs cleaner — for us, for you, and for the industry.
What This Requires from You
Patience. 7–10 working days is not overnight shipping. If you order a piece for a Saturday, order the Saturday before. If you're a diaspora shopper flying in for December, order by the end of November. Made-to-order is worth the wait — it's what makes the difference.
